Dear Urbanovsky Family,
Since the moment I got the phone call, to the funeral, coming back to school and now tonight as we honor him at Silver Taps, Luke has been on my mind and in my heart. I have so many great memories with Luke but I wish I had a lot more. MSC Fish was the best thing to ever happen to all of us freshmen. The program itself is amazing but the people who were in it made it so special. There are a handful of people in the group who pushed me and inspired me to be a better person and Luke was one of them. Luke has changed my life completely. The way he lived his life is truly inspirational. Every time I saw him he was so happy. Always smiling with that beautiful smile of his. After leaving Granbury in June, I have a piece of Luke’s spirit with me. I have become closer to god, and really have enjoyed the little things I didn’t usually enjoy. I find myself looking up to the sky and just thanking Luke for being such an amazing person. I wish we didn’t have to meet again at Silver Taps but I am so blessed to have this tradition and show how much we love him. I admire your family so much. I love looking at Josh and Nathans pictures on facebook and twitter because they look just like Luke. They should feel so lucky to be so handsome just like their brother. Your home was beautiful, the lake was breathtaking and such a great place to think about Luke at. The flower you gave us girls to take home is in my room, still beautiful like it was on that day. Luke was the amazing person he was because of you guys. My favorite part about your home was how comfortable it was, just like how Luke made me feel. I only met him for one year but that one-year felt like a lifetime. You did an amazing job creating a beautiful, caring, sweet boy, who is now all of our angels. Thank you for sharing your son with us FISH. I pray for your family every day and talk to Luke all the time. We love you guys and y’all are always in my heart.
Love always,
