Urbanovsky Family,
I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am that this happened. I met Luke my sophomore year at A&M, which had been one of the hardest years of my life. I had so much going on back home and even at school, and it was such a struggle to try and stay positive. I felt so isolated and I sat next to Luke in one of my classes. He honestly just brightened my day and made going to that class something to look forward to. Everyday I came in and he would have the most genuine smile. He always had funny stories for me, and not in a cocky or "look how cool I am" kind of way. He really just wanted to smile and make other people smile. He was unbelieveably smart, such a bright bright guy without even really having to try. He always just knew the answer when I was completely lost. I remember one time second semester just randomly seeing him on campus at night, and we sat down and talked/ate for over an hour, ignoring everything we were supposed to be doing. My friend was with me and she kept asking about him after because she thought he was so hilarious. I remember after this year when I got home for the summer I was trying to look on the positive things that had happened to me this year and Luke was honestly one of the few things I could think of. He was one of the few memories I had that made me feel happy again. He really made a big impact on me, and I can't imagine how hard it must be to watch him grow up, and then have him taken so soon. I am so, so sorry. I really loved Luke and I wish that he wasn't taken, because he truely is one of a kind. Your family is in my thoughts constantly and I hope everyone is doing all right.
